make a crown

Hello and welcome, this is my very first post... like ever ever...

We made these crowns for a new years card....using paper squares e.g. origami paper we cut snowflakes. then we added some color by sticking some cut out present wrapper scraps, foil, tissue paper and patterned or colored sticky tape behind some of the wholes we had cut out. I measured the card crowns and we glued our stars onto these as the center pieces, adding more decorations. They are closed at the back by punching holes at each end of the card strip and tying golden string in little bows. I like the way these show character and that everyone got to decide on color, shape and personality of the character wearing it.
